Finsbury Tower lies within the Borough of Islington, on Bunhill Row to the South of Old Street and is approximately 3,650 square meters in plan. The existing tower consists of 16 storeys and is just under 60m in height. The project involves the partial demolition, extension and extensive refurbishment of the existing tower structure from floor 16 to the basement. The project also consists of a new 29 storey building, constructed using a twin Slipform which is poured simultaneously to a height of 124m. There are two additional 7 storey podium levels to the North and South of the main tower along with a separate 6 storey Residential frame.
