CLN DATA CENTRE DUBLIN, PHASES 5 &6

Phase 5 & Phase 6 consisted of a programme to further
expand the Data Centre in Clonee, County Meath,
Ireland. This phase added a 28,000sq m (301,400sq ft) building
and administrative space to bring the Data Centre facility to
nearly 150,000 square meters.
As part of the plans, two new data Centre buildings will be
constructed with further plans to build an office building
down the line.
There are also plans for a large electricity substation in the
area, which will involve the installation of 2.5km of high-
voltage wire.

J Coffey Construction were appointed to carry out the
following works:
• Full cut and fill
• Concrete foundations, footings and precast units to Data
Building
• Associated services including; Foul/surface drainage
systems, attenuation ponds/tanks, rising mains
• Supply and Install of all ducting including fibre, security,
public lighting, LV and MV ducting Groundworks Package
• 2km of 355mm watermain Groundworks Package
• 58,000 m2 FM2 and FM3
• 20,000m² of Concrete Generator yard slabs
• Design & Build of all precast units; 280nr utility
chambers & circa 3km of precast beams to building
• Road paved works of 22,000m²
• Hard landscaping pavements 18,000m²
