“We looked for a contractor where a high proportion of their work is repeat business, a team with exibility and an approach of getting the job done. J Coffey Construction provide a level of performance unrivalled by many competitors.” Church Commissioners for England.

The refurbishment of a derelict vacant property to create a high quality 2 bedroom mews house. The works included the renewal of the external windows and doors and extensive repairs to the roof covering and introduction of automated velux windows and conservation rooflights.

The internal remodelling provided for a bespoke staircase framed in stainless steel and glass with open treads clad in oak, the formation of a Poggenpohl kitchen and extensive timber flooring and stonework finishes throughout. The heat recovery unit was installed to aid internal ambient comfort whilst sunpipes were introduced at roof level to create internal light to the rear of the ground floor.

The privacy of the ground floor bedroom to the mews was maintained using a panel of switchable LCD glass as the photographs to the left demonstrate.
