“We looked for a contractor where a high proportion of their work is repeat business, a team with exibility and an approach of getting the job done. J Coffey Construction provide a level of performance unrivalled by many competitors.” Church Commissioners for England.

The Water Gardens South Tower was our third common parts tower refurbishment project for the Church Commissioners. Since our first project in 2009 we have successfully undertaken eight contracts for the Church Commissioners varying in size from £280,000 to £6.80 million.

This refurbishment was undertaken in a fully occupied 17 storey tower block with minimum disruption to the residents. Lift and entrance lobbies were completely refurbished and upgraded to meet current Building Regulations.

The work included replacement of lobby fire doors, new ceilings, preparation and decoration of all walls together with new flooring. Electrical lighting, security and re alarms were all replaced and/or upgraded along with new radiators to each oor lobby.

The reception area was completely remodelled with new ceramic tiling, feature reflective panelling, floating raft ceilings, fish pond and a new reception desk.
